Appropriations Requests

Congressman Figures is currently accepting appropriations requests for congressional directed spending for Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26). Through this process, Congressman Figures advocates for programs that support Alabama’s Second Congressional District. 

The request portal will remain open until 5:00 pm ET on Monday, April 21, 2025. 

Submissions will be considered on a rolling basis after the deadline. 

FY2026 NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT (NDAA) REQUESTS

NDAA funding requests are for Congress to fund projects that strengthen national security or other defense-related activities.

Non-defense programmatic and language requests are for Congress to fund a specific federal program at a specific level or include language directing a federal agency to implement a program in a specific way. If your funding project is selected, we will follow up for additional information.
