Figures Fights for Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District During First 100 Days
WASHINGTON – This week, Rep. Shomari C. Figures (AL-02) marked 100 days since he was sworn in as a member of the 119th Congress. He has worked to push for policies that will improve the lives of people in Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District, while also fighting back on the Trump Administration’s harmful decisions that will negatively impact the lives of his constituents.
“For the past 100 days, I’ve had the opportunity to advocate for and oppose policies that impact the people in Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District,” said Rep. Figures. “I will always keep the district first and will continue to push for Medicaid expansion, investments in our infrastructure and improvements in our communities.”
